Young ducks like these need protecting during the day, as well as at night. Common daytime predators include crows, rooks and buzzards. Ducklings this age would usually be in the stables with heat lamps, but the weather here in Norfolk is SO hot, they’re having an outdoor day of sunbathing in fully enclosed grass runs – complete with swimming pools of course!
