We took some examples of different breeds along from our pure and rare breed free-range flocks and created some information boards. Many people were amazed at the huge variety of chicken breeds that exist and found out a little more about their fascinating histories. Our huge Buff Orpington cockerel, ‘Buffy’ and his wife ‘Henny-Penny’ attracted the most attention, which they seemed to quite enjoy!
