February 2026 – We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Rare Breeds Survival Trust

We have been sponsoring RBST for many years and are delighted to confirm we will be continuing our partnership in 2026, bringing our total RBST sponsorship funding to £2,262.

What is this organisation?

Rare Breeds Survival Trust is a conservation charity whose purpose is to secure the continued existence and viability of native farm animals of the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1973 and since then, no UK-native breed has become extinct.

Amongst many other things, the RBST maintains a watch list of rare native breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, goats and poultry. This watchlist keeps tabs on the UK’s rare native breeds. It identifies which breeds are in real danger of disappearing, based on their population and genetic diversity. By flagging these at-risk breeds, they can focus conservation efforts – like breeding programs or public awareness – so that these unique breeds aren’t lost for future generations.

Their Mission Statement can be found here: https://www.rbst.org.uk/our-mission

How is Incredible Eggs supporting this organisation?

We keep, breed and conserve many of the rare chicken, duck and geese breeds listed on the RBST Watch List. Partnerships such as ours raise awareness and provide essential funding to enable RBST to continue their mission.

The photographs below show some of these wonderful old rare breeds taken on our Incredible Eggs branch farms over the years – we hope you enjoy!
